"People in japan generally think that their education is high. I think it's true in a way. I heard their standard is higher than other countries, especially in math. Many students who studied in American college said that math test o enter college in USA is a lot easier than one in Japan. To keep that high standard, students are tied down by studying and stating it earlierage, so it's verystressful to many students. The reason kids are choosing to go thru that stress is, to win their bright future.
...
One thing I hear a lot now is "Slow going education". Because of to much stress to older students like I Wrote above, public schools have stepped back a few years ago. For example, math problems I learned in my 2nd grade, they learn the same thing in the 3rd grade today. It does have good and bad. It's been a few years since schools started doing this program and I heard that the standard is getting lower and there're parents who don't likethis program. My friend is among them andshe's thinking to send her child to a private school."
